What is a DeBan Node?
DeBan Nodes are the foundation of the DeBan network, acting as pathways that allow internet traffic to flow through unused bandwidth contributed by users. By running a node, you participate in powering the decentralized ecosystem while earning rewards based on how much traffic your node relays. Rewards are also influenced by factors such as your location and the quality of your node's performance.
Each DeBan Node has two primary responsibilities:
Traffic Routing: Directing internet requests to their intended destinations as instructed by the network.
Response Relay: Securely sending back encrypted responses from web servers to the appropriate network components.

How Nodes Work
Once connected, your node becomes an active participant in the network, automatically registered and ready to relay traffic. Your main role as a node operator is to keep your device online to ensure smooth data transmission.
What Happens Behind the Scenes:
Your node securely routes encrypted traffic from DeBan clients to public web servers.
It does not access or alter the content of the traffic it relays. Instead, it simply follows routing instructions.
Each request is authenticated using digital signatures, ensuring the legitimacy of every transmission.
Validators monitor node performance to assess contribution quality and allocate rewards accordingly.
Performance and Scoring
The DeBan network uses a scoring system to evaluate and reward nodes. Your score determines how much traffic is routed through your node and, by extension, your earnings.
